Complex adult care, post-operative management, and advanced assessment across medical and surgical wards.

Antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care with advanced midwifery skills and high-risk pregnancy management.

Mental health assessment, therapeutic communication, and advanced psychiatric nursing in clinical and community settings.

Neonatal through adolescent care, developmental assessment, and acute paediatric nursing practice.

Eligibility Requirements

Two years. Full-time. Clinically serious.

Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife (RN/RM) status is required. Candidates must hold B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum 55% aggregate.

Duration: 2 years, full-time. The program covers advanced clinical skills, nursing research methodology, and the leadership competencies required for senior ward and faculty positions.

A minimum of one year of clinical or teaching experience after completing B.Sc. Nursing is mandatory before admission.

Graduates enter M.Sc. with a bedside record and leave with the research and leadership credentials to direct the next level of care.

Admission is subject to INC norms and Karnataka State Nursing Council recognition. Final selection is merit-based.
